A quick update: I found a fair price on a new logic board and recapped it. The IIsi is now working. I’ll be shelving the broken logic board indefinitely. Thanks to everyone for the good advise!

I’ve got a IIsi that I recapped, cleaned and seems to have the same symptoms as yours. Did you happen to have any luck with this one?

65scribe’s video on the IIsi on YouTube talks about a similar strategy to deal with this issue (starting around 4:50 in the video)

Out of curiosity how did you determine the onboard RAM needs to be replaced. I have a IIsi that doesn’t boot and I’ve been trying to figure out why myself.
