I saw this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/200874134116
mainly because I am always on the lookout for the 500 series PB's. I noticed it said PowerBook 520 but I have never seen anyting like it. What is it for? And is it really for a PB 520? Please shed some light on this.
Thanks for the responses. I will be getting a second rev c module soon so wlan is on my future projects list.
Is this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/230901332586?redirect=mobile
the card you all speak of?
Thanks for the responses. In my head, I had imagined it would be more complicated. Having to install drivers for specific brands, etc. I will give it a try and report findings later. Thanks again!
I have tried searching for the following here but without success...
I have a PowerBook 520c with an upgraded 100 mhz processor and rev c module running 7.6.
My goal is to boot and run using a compact flash card from the PCMCIA slot.
Can someone point me to an PCMCIA CF adapter that plays...
I know it's a longshot but, has anyone here had any luck running one of these:

On a PowerBook 500 series notebook with the rev c module?
There's been two of these on ebay the last month. The other one went for close to $150.00. They are getting harder and harder to find so people are bidding up on these.
does it require drivers? what settings are you running (software wise)? What browser are you using? Now that you've used it for a while...have you had any problems with it? I'm thinking about trying it on my 540c.
