To use ADTPro you can connect a USB-equipped Mac to your IIGS with a Keyspan USB-to-serial adapter and a crossover MiniDIN 8 serial cable. I have more info if you think this would be the way you want to go.

As an OS Jaguar is such a slow wreck and really not complete. If XpostFacto can install Panther instead of Jaguar you would have a much better test of your hardware.

The jumper on the adapter needs to be set for "master". Usually that means you just leave it off.

With an active Wi-Fi available just keep the 'Book  with the Date and Time Control Panel (OS 9 nomenclature) set to use the Time Server. You get an almost immediate correct clock set when you start up.
