True. I'm in talks to potentially get a Quicksilver 1GHz G4 tower with a Zip drive, so while having a desktop 68k Mac would be cool, you're right - they all serve their own purposes.

Ooh sounds like a solid setup. I would love a desktop Mac II of some sort - all I end up with is compact Macs and PowerPC stuff 😅

Dang. I've never had a flyback spark on me before, I always wait too long or it has a bleeder installed.

I would be happy to test with a Plus and 512K, and any future SE and Classic models.
