Why no NeXT section?

Of course, there is also the thriving community at MC68000.org catering for the 68k crowd. Therefore, we might as well just close the forums here down completely. Oh wait...

For what its worth, I'd just like to state that we will never have a NeXT section, simply because even though NeXT was started by Steve, and even though the NeXT systems ran 68k chips, they are still not an Apple platform and are thus not related to our forum. Its a bit like asking why Astra Owner's Club (another forum I visit) doesn't have a section for the Vauxhall Insignia, "even though its a Vauxhall as well"...its not related to the purpose of the forum, and therefore unnecessary. We have forums for the Apple I/II/III/Lisa and PowerPCs because they are also obsolete Apple platforms and are therefore related to the purpose of our forum.
