Another IIci. This one, with cache card and a set of feet. Also came with an ADB mouse, AEK II, and a Stylewriter II printer. Bought it for a C-note. The board needed recapping, floppy drive is dusty and likely not reading/writing disks, like my other Sony auto-inject drives, but the case is in much nicer condition than the one I got earlier. Swapped the recapped board over to the nicer case, dropped in the 160MB drive I'd set up for the other IIci, and reinstalled the cache card. Both machines are/were with 8MB of RAM. Keeping the extra set of SIMMs as spares for when/if I pick up another Plus or SE that needs a memory upgrade. Will be sending the old case with the new machine's board to @James1095 for him to recap, then maybe swap the board into a friend's IIci that has dead Nubus slots.

Conquested four 16MB 30-pin SIMMs for the IIci. Got them for $51.50 shipped. Going to take a while for the Happy Mac icon to appear at bootup... lol

I'm not sure about the IIci specifically, but on many models, I believe the startup RAM test can be disabled.

It's that special Memory control panel trick whose invocation escapes me at the moment.

If you have a Daystar accelerator in it, you can disable the RAM check via the Daystar control panel. Otherwise you'll need a custom ROM with the check disabled.

64MB has arrived, as did the MC3NB ethernet card I bought from @androda.

Next up is a IIci programmer's switch and some SE parts. Then comes some 74ALS240A chips to fix the no-Nubus slot issue.

IIci programmer's switch, SE parts, 74ALS240A chips, and another set of SIMMs arrived. Also just conquested a LPS270S to replace the LPS240S in the Centris 650 that just took a dump today. Got that for $33.75, plus shipping.

Just conquested a M0487 keyboard off the 'bay for $16.34, including tax. Will be picking it up either tomorrow or sometime Thursday.

Going back about 8 months. A link which will lead you to the OS8 on the Turbo601 info is here:

http://www.brinnoven.co.uk/turbo601/

These guys were incredibly helpful back in the day at pulling the Turbo601 users together and creating a place to share and pool our experiences.
Found a working link for the site...

@MrFahrenheit, here's some info about running OS 8 with your Turbo 601 card.

In other news, I may be reconquesting the 100MHz T601 card, as I mentioned in the IIci cache slot compatibility thread.

A9M0106 is on hold for now - eBay canceled the auction before the seller and I could take care of things.

May be bringing home an ImageWriter II that someone on OfferUp offered for free tom'w afternoon. Passes the self-test, but they don't have a printer cable to connect it to a computer to print something with it.

Grabbed the IWII. Have it connected to the 650. Also received the keyboards and a mouse from the Idaho Mac haul that PotatoFi posted over at TD. Today, received another A9M0331 mouse, which is destined for the IIgs, since it's early enough to have been produced while all Macs used the beige M0100 mouse. The other A9M0331 will get reconnected to the SE.
