Thanks to diligent effort by volunteer editors (like the very prolific TheNeil) most of the 68k Macs have articles on the wiki. But don't stop there! We would still love to have information on expansion cards, peripherals (like monitors and printers), vintage software and games, trivia about quirks and behind-the-scenes facts, &c. If everyone contributes just a little bit, the MLA wiki can be one of the best resources anywhere. You all have a little bit of knowledge from your experiences that is unique...share it!

I've added a small entry for the Message Pad 120 in between classes. I'll see if i can add more later.

If you don't have lots of hardware/software facts/trivia on hand, you can always start a user page to get the hang of wiki-editing. What to put on a user page? List your collection, write about how you got interested in Macs, write about neat things you've done with Macs, write how you got your Macs, etc. (As you go, it might jog your memory. "Oh yeah, that was a neat thing about X. Does the X page have that info? I guess I'll add it...") The same kind of stuff you do here, except it will be saved in an easily-found location. Take a look at my user page.

Don't be afraid to stub an article in, even if you don't have a lot of information (or time to edit) right now. (Or take look at the list of current stubs, and see if there's one you can add even a little to.) If you start something, that might be impetus for someone else to jump in and roll with it. Maybe you can scan box art for something and upload a thumbnail. Maybe you can post a screenshot of some software. We need pics for many models of Macs...if yours is in good shape and you can get a decent picture, that would be helpful. There's lots you can add!

I edit a few little things here and there, but am weary about writing much, since mostly I just babel on and on about stuff.

1. Spoted a whopping error on the Quadra 950 entry, relating to A/UX.

2. How do you go about editing it? This wiki business is new to me.

Just click the "edit" link at the top of the page. It's best if you register and log in first, though.

We do have some basic help pages there (see the wiki home page for links), but you can always learn by viewing the edit screen of an existing article and look at how the formatting was done. HTML markup isn't all that hard, and wiki markup strives to be even easier.
