Struggling to get a DaynaPORT E/II-T working on my IIsi

Hello all,
I just picked up a DaynaPORT E/II-T along with a IIsi NuBus adapter for networking on my IIsi. The adapter works wonderfully, FPU works fine, but the ethernet card can't be recognized at all by the drivers (tried both versions from vintageapple.org's driver museum), and when i manually try to install the daynaport ii drivers it still doesn't detect it. When I plug in a RJ-45 cable the green light on the card flashes, so it is at least getting power. Is the card faulty, or are there possibly other drivers that could work for it / a simple hardware fix? Thanks!

Those seem to be prone to give trouble, based on a cursory search for discussion of the card.

However, what System software? It might be worth trying it in pre-Open Transport mode, for instance. Beyond that, I suppose the most basic question has to be whether you have the networking Control Panels configured properly. And then there’s the usual need to connect to a dumb hub before the connection to a modern router. All such bases have been covered?

I've tried out 7.5.3, 7.1, and 6.0.8, and in all of the cases the card isn't detected by the installer. I poked at the networking panels for a little bit after attempting to install the drivers, but no ethertalk / ethernet options are shown. On the hub front, I use a pretty cheap wifi to ethernet adapter thingy, which works well enough with the internal beige g3 ethernet, which is also 10baseT if I remember correctly. Who knows, maybe the card just doesn't play well with the IIsi.
does tattletech or Slots show it as being installed?
oh wait i need to try those out, i'll get back to you on that in about 12 hours or so

Coming back to this after almost 2 months (a little more than 12 hours I'd say lol), tattletech doesn't report the card in the NuBus section, and even the IIsi NuBus adapter isn't shown as installed in the NuBus section (might be normal behavior), so it might just be the adapter, but the adapter's FPU does work in MacBench interestingly. I don't know if I want to buy another NuBus card to risk it also not working at all due to the adapter maybe possibly not working (the daynaport is the only NuBus card I have at the moment), but I may have to. Any other possible fixes or is the card just a lost cause?
(terrible crt picture of tattletech output attached)

I don't have any experience with this specific card, but if a card doesn't show up in TattleTech or similar, I'd personally probably assume it to be knackered.

Another update: got an Asante card just today but it still isn't showing up in tattletech or being detected by the installer at all.
I'm betting its safe to say the nubus adapter is defective, which is strange as the adapter is in great condition and the FPU works, but unless theres a possible fix I'll just return the asante card and give up on all this

In TatleTech you must click the checkbox that say "All Slots" when viewing Nubus/PDS on the Mac IIsi. Then you'll get your info.
Both those cards need respective drivers installed. Apple drivers don't work.
Get or ask for DaynaPort 7.5.3 Installer which should work for that Card
Conversely, Asante 5.1.2 Installer.
If you have trouble finding them lmk.
