Sigma Designs Pageview SE/30 DB15 PDS card drivers

I recently found this card inside of a battery-bombed SE/30. It appears to be a Sigma Designs Pageview card and has a DB15 connection. Perhaps this can be used with normal Macintosh monitors?

Does anyone have info on this card or know where to find drivers for it?

I tried mounting the HDD in the system it was pulled from, but the head is stuck. I'll try to unstick the head, but that's always a crapshoot. Hopefully I can get it to mount and pull the drivers from there.

@zuiko21n noted in this earlier chat seems to have a control panel for a variant of this card that has the 9 pin connector.
Hi all,

The last days have been very good for my 68k collection... among a Mac II, a Colour Classic and a much lusted (for decades!) Apple Portrait Display, I got my second SE/30!

Looks great, boots fine (has 7.0 in a Quantum LPS40), sounds loud and clear so it may take some time before recapping is needed -- anyway the mobo could get some washing. But the main reason for the purchase (I'm still due to replace the 53C80 on my other SE/30) was that it came with a Sigma Designs video card inside!

That thing is connected via a DE-9 (!) port, but I don't know anything else about it. There is a Sigma Designs control panel in the HD, but I couldn't get it working, neither any utilities detected anything installed... obviosuly, no monitor was plugged.

Any light on this would be greatly appreciated. All the best,

So I installed this in a working SE/30 and connected to a Macintosh 12-inch RGB monitor. The monitor wasn't recognized and didn't seem to attempt to sync. I'm guessing this card was only intended to work with portrait displays. Mine are in storage other than a Radius Color Pivot which I assume won't work with this.

Anyone know what displays it should be compatible with?

I found a similar card in a SE FDHD. It drives a proprietary A4 external portrait screen.

The SCSI hard disk was still working so I could extract a folder with couple extensions, one saying "PageView" and another "PageView SE".
I should have it on the SD card of the SCSI2SD I was using to revive that Mac. Let me check and if I find something, I will post it.

BTW, my card is for sale :)

Here is a Mac HFS disk image (DiskCopy format) with the TeamView extensions folder inside.
You can try this, let me know if it will work. At boot my SE FDHD beeps and shows 2 times a dialog box saying that there is no monitor connected to the card, then brings me to the Finder desktop.

Thanks! I'll give this a shot. I tried connecting a known good Apple portrait display to it, but it didn't get video and prevented the SE/30 from booting. Perhaps the drivers will help.
