Scuznet SCSI to Ethernet Adapter PCB & parts kit

I had ten Scuznet PCBs manufactured, and have purchased the parts necessary to assemble fifteen boards. The cost of the components for fifteen boards was just shy of $400, and the PCBs had an effective cost of $5 each, so I'm asking $35 per kit, shipped via first class mail (trackable), within the US. I'm not sure what it will cost to ship them internationally yet, but I'd anticipate about $10 each. I won't have all the parts in-hand for another week, probably.

This is an open source project designed by Saybur. The code and PCB layouts are available at https://github.com/saybur/scuznet.

This is not a beginners' build. It is comprised of 91 discrete compoents, many of which are size 0603 SMT passives.

It uses an existing SCSI Ethernet driver, the Nuvotech Nuvolink Driver, also available at the Compgeke Archive

I’m interested, but unless I’m misreading the threads, a PDI programmer is needed to get it up and running. I spent a bit of time looking around and wasn’t really able to find much for those. Do you have any suggestions (or perhaps search terms I’m overlooking)? Or, perhaps, am I just misunderstanding the situation? Thanks.

Very cool. Which Macs will this work on?
Any SCSI mac running a version of System/MacOS that is compatible with the existing driver, I'd imagine. Not sure about PowerPC, but it would probably work there, although there are frankly better options for networking on almost any PPC Macintosh.

I'll be selling the ATMEGA pre-programmed.

I think I would be up for one!  I just did a project that required soldering an ATMEGA640 in the TQFP 100 package, so if I can do that (which I did), I can do this!

I would be also very interested in getting one set if shipping to Switzerland is possible. Thanks for pushing this awesome project :)

I have no use for these unfortunately, but I'd almost get one for scuzzy the snail alone. Hope to see it on other products. What a mascot!

Are these all spoken for? I could use one of these kits if not

Nice...

And it does look tempting, but 91 pieces and some really small SMD...

I'm not there yet...  ;-(  (Even tho that little voice inside my head is telling me to go for it..  But he's the same voice that told me there was no way VHS would win and I should buy Beta, so I don't generally listen to him anymore..)
