Recap service recommendations?

I have been meaning to recap my compact Macs, Apple II systems, and an LC475 and IIci and I really should do it before it's too late, old caps leak and boards get damaged (if that hasn't happened already). Once upon a time I thought I might tackle it myself, but I'm rusty when it comes to soldering and kids, family and work consume most of my free time. I'm in MA, does anyone have recommendations for recapping old systems like this?

Also a number of years ago I bought some SCSI2SD boards (I forget which version), which I was waiting to set up until after I recapped the boards. it looks like the project has evolved and branched off over the years... what are the recommended solution(s) these days for 68k Macs?

Does the Apple II logic board have electrolytic capacitors? I think only the power supply on the Apple II has capacitors.

I have an Apple //c, //c Plus, and IIgs (ROM03). I think at least the IIgs has some capacitors on the motherboard, I'll have to check on the other two.

+1 to Amiga of Rochester(which despite their name, does much more than Amiga).

Other option might be The Byte Shop. https://byteshop.io/ in the Boston area, so may be worth a visit if you're close to that

OMG Thank you. I live just outside Boston and the neighborhood this shop is in. Until today, I've never heard of it. But VERY excited to know about it now.

I've had a Mac SE/30, an SE, and 2 Pluses in non working order due to blown caps. I'd L O V E to get my Mac SE/30 working. I bought it off craigs list for 60 bucks about 17 years ago now in perfect condition. Gave it a 128MB ram upgrade shortly after. I had AU/X it for a hot minute. Anyways a several years later, I moved, and one day I went to start her up and no go, blow caps when I took the board out.

I've done electronics repair before but I dont have the steadiness anymore in my hands. I'd rather just pay someone who is seasoned to do it so I know its done right and will work without much of a hitch. I had a roommate who built circuit board prototypes professionally and told me he could fix them one afternoon, I just had to order the parts. Then covid hit a week or two later, and he darted home (his stay was temporary). I never got them fixed. He told me to just mail the boards and he could fix them without the the rest of the machine (i.e. crt). But I am like ehhh.

But I am soooo happy to learn there is someone local who might be able to repair them, yay! Thank you!
I'll def report back how it went. So excited that I might finally get her working again!!

Can anyone recommend a place in the Philadelphia metropolitan area? Or New York City area? Mac Plus display just went bad (deflection yoke?) so would like to get it going again but would rather make a road trip than try to find a shipping box etc.

In Philly try the Game Junkie in Glenside. I know they recap gaming Consoles, they may be willing to try a Mac.
