Powerbook 1xx with external bluescsi (HDI-30 connector)

I have a working / booting PowerBook 145b from the internal hard-drive.

I have a DB25 bluescsi device.

I have a HDI-30 to DB25 cable.

If I don't plug the cable, the PowerBook boots from the internal hard-drive.

If I plug the cable HDI-30 to DB25 to bluescsi (which is also powered by USB), the PowerBook shows the Mac with a question mark. It boots to the internal hard-drive if I remove the HDI-30 cable.

If I plug the cable HDI-30 with bluescsi after booting from the hard-drive, the laptop eventually freezes.

Has anyone managed to use bluescsi with a Powerbook via the external SCSI connector? Can such person describe precisely his setup?

Thank you for the replying but it's not "completely helping" ;-).

There is a similar thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/VintageApple/comments/txz42g
There are other threads which people say they have managed to plug bluescsi externally. This is why I'm asking that if someone has managed to do it, he describes how he did it! (including jumper, power, order of plug, name of image on SD card for SCSI number and so on....).

Thank you in advance.

I managed to use the Bluescsi externally with my CC, using a termination, worked without any issue.

Probably an issue with termination, or SCSI ID
How is it terminated?
Does the BlueSCSI provide termination?
My HDI-30 SCSI adapter has a little termination switch on it.
If there is no termination, you will have to put the BlueSCSI into an enclosure with two external SCSI ports and then terminate the port not used.

I have used a DB25 version BlueSCSI externally on a powerbook 170 (or 160?) without issue, powered the BlueSCSI from USB of course.

I have tried everything, still no luck. I believe that it's a termination issue because if I remove the SCSI cable, the laptop immediately boots with the internal drive. I do have the two jumpers on value 0.

Question: If you have a HDI-30 cable to DB25 to bluescsi, you power bluescsi with USB and you don't put a micro SD card, what happens with your powerbook? Does it boot on the internal hard-drive or is it stuck with a Mac question mark? I'm trying to determine if this is a software hda problem or if it's a problem with my bluescsi which I have never seen working because I just acquired it. The log file seems correct:
