I know that switch998 has asked for some of the parts to the 6115, but if the CD bezel is not already spoken for, could I buy that from you? I have a 6115 that has the blank center and I when I want to use the CD, I have to remove the lid.

Great job on the retrobrite and cleanup by the way - the plastics look amazing.

Are the 6115 feet spoken for?
If you weren't aware, there's a company that manufactures brand new replacement feet for the Quadra/Centris 610/PMac6x00 line and they sell them on eBay.  A set of 4 are like $25 or something.

Alternatively, Performa 611x Macs often sell for very little on eBay for some strange reason.  I picked one up recently with a CD-ROM, 16MB of RAM, a working 500MB hard drive, and case in excellent condition, for $20 plus $15 shipping.

$19 for 1, $25 for 2, $35 for 4.  I just need 2 for a 660av and used ones would match the color better then new (plus I am cheap).

Just wanted to publicly thank PotatoFi for the machine.

I actually tried to save it, and while it cleaned up nicely (I suspect it could be fully cleaned easily in an ultrasonic), the CPU had suffered some physical damage that would make repair too time consuming. I needed the whole top case, so the CD bezel now part of my 6100. I tried to remove the feet (it only had 3) but they shattered into pieces along with the drive mounting assembly, I also tried to save the rear plastics but they were far too damaged from rust, the PSU was rusty and went in the bin.

I do have the bad motherboard (I stole the HDI45 connector) if anybody wants it for ICs, but that was unfortunately the only thing salvageable other than the top case.

@switch998 Thanks for the closure on it, glad that some of it went on to help out another machine. I also thought that the board could be salvageable until I saw the processor pins. Additionally, the top of the processor was not flat, which makes me wonder if it got super hot or something. Hard to say.

And yeah, that PSU sounded FULL of rust.
