Trying to install drivers for a solo B4600 on my MacOS 9 machine. It has the drivers but I cannot get this PCL installer to launch.. is there a way to extract the driver?? You can see the instructions on how to do it but it cannot find the application that created it.. and I’m installing it from the actual installation CD. Any ideas?? Thanks a lot!

If you open the original file with ResEdit, does it have any resources inside? If it does, try the below. If it doesn't ... well, you may be out of luck.

Assuming it does, make a copy of the file to your desktop. Open the copy in ResEdit, then open the BNDL file. Copy the signature (should be 4 letters.)

Next, use the Get Info for This File command from the File menu. Change the Type to "APPL" and the creator to the same as the signature.

Save. Now attempt to open it.
