Last week I scored some beautiful Black hardware:

- NeXTstation TurboColor, with SoundBox ADB, and ADB keyboard and mouse, pristine.

- NeXT MegaPixel 17'' display, pristine cosmetic, but nearly dead tube: awful picture.

- NeXT laser printer, said to be non working (haven't tested yet)

- NeXT and NeXTSTEP 3.3 manuals. The original CD and floppies wre lost, but the guy gave me copies.

I'm new to the NeXT world, now trying to get NeXTSTEP 3.3 and OPENSTEP 4.2 working under VirtualBox on my MBP!

Cool for you! If you get that Turbo running, it will be like having OS X 0.1. :D
Oh, it does run just fine! A clean NeXTSTEP 3.3 install was done by the seller the day before I picked it up. It's just the CRT that's nearly shot, so the image is bad, but still usable. I tested it with a 17'' Dell LCD, and it's just fine!

The next rainy sundy I'll try and connect it to my network.

Congrats! I've always wanted a NeXT machine but the shipping costs would kill me.
The thing sadly wasn't free. I bought it CHF 300.- (roughly $300.-), and I had to drive a couple of hours to get it. Anyway, NeXT hardware was pretty rare at the time here in Switzerland (of course, except for the well known NeXT cube on which the web was invented at the CERN). So I'm very happy to have it!

The seller is an absolute NeXT freak. He has two cubes (one boxed) with matching displays and accessories, and another NeXTstation. Actually he's just a freak... :) He also has a huge pile of different boxed Amiga gear... No Macs, though!
