I finally got my Newton 2100 on the web (using a 3Com 3C589D Ethernet card). I have installed Courier and it works well - what browsers do other people use and/or recommend?

Cheers [:)] ]'>

i will soon be getting a MP2100 so as of right now i would not know what browsers are available or where at. i will be looking for allot of software so it will be stored on my P1 system so it can be transfered from it to the newton.

I found this link quite useful (it is what I followed). Sites like UNNA (for software) and NewtonTalk (mailing list) are also good. There is quite a wealth of information out there.

It's been a while, but I was always pretty happy with newtscape for browsing the web.

i only manage to get my 2000 online for a short period of time before i wanted to stab myself in the eye as the experience was sooo painful. whats the 2100 like speed wise and how are the pages rendering?

Speed is not too bad actually. I was expecting it to be terrible. Rendering is OK - didn't go to many pages apart from Google etc. I think it must automatically ignore most images. I will try a few more pages (and maybe try posting here from it) soon and post some pictures.
