That's a good question and to tell you the truth I don't know lol

'M' I think is meaningless. But B and F1/FA, dunno about that.

only thing we can do is burn em and see if they work. I have no way to test them as I have no other radius cards outside of the IIsi one.

I got mine for $100 ! So it'd better work now!

BTW, the ROMs were successfully delivered, according to USPS at least. The game is on!

sweet let me know how it goes =) And PM me for how much money I should send to whoever to send me a chip see if it works

You don't think this chip is any different that might do any damage if something is different? the data sheets seemed about the same thing

So there was another small problem with my radius pivot card I thought I was passed it but its back again. The screen sometimes get stuck in Grayscale even tho it says 256 color.  when i first got it this problem randomly popped up and I thought it was fried maybe it is, maybe its a problem with the rom maybe this will fix it maybe its something from the logic board.

The only thing that would Temporarily fix it would be to uninstall the card and re install it, Or theres even 2 jumpers on the board for A or 9 . i'm guessing thats a pds slot address selector tho I dont understand why there is 2 separate jumpers.

This only occurs after a restart when I restart the computer its grayscale even though it was color before no matter what I did I couldn't figure it out it was so random, and what i ended up doing I thought it was the old se hard drive I had in there maybe causing magnetic interference or anything from the crt. So I switched out the hard drive and crt and all that anyway as I was recapping it. And the problem was gone, until I just plugged in a monitor and it was grayscale again.....

So I was so exhausted from frustration with all this I put my SE 30 away for a little while Until we maybe finish this ROM Update =) maybe that will fix it... maybe not maybe I'll have to buy a different card one day if I ever see another one.... unlikely.

As stated in my other topic I jammed that other pivot card with the 2.5 rom and it works okay in 32bit the mouse doesn't freeze.

I hope updating the chip in the other card fixes the problem too =)

and also hoping not to have any other problems like going greyscale...

I'll keep you updated  Let me know about those chips when you have the time =)

I have the chips. Soon as I get them programmed, I will get them sent off. I should have some spare time this weekend to get er done. I gotta drag out and blow the cobwebs off my hardware. good ol compaq 400Mhz laptop. Last thing I have left with a parallel port that still has USB.

Ya I really hope these rom chips work so i can finally put this se30 back together completely =)

This seems like it might be useful for a lot of people that have these cards to update the rom.

Think I'll just get this plcc32t to dip28 adapter and see if i can put the chip from this iisi card into the 030 card
