Does anyone have good photos of the front and backsides of the tuner module? I received one that has been decapped, but i think its also missing a crystal but I cannot be too certain.

thanks.

You're talking about the TV tuner board in the Macintosh TV? I don't have any pics of the backside, but I did take various pics of the tuner board. The little board that says Sony on it is actually a separate audio board (SBX1637A-01) that is also used in a bunch of TVs. I socketed it, bought a brand new one, and put the new one on.

Ah dang, yeah i think theres parts missing on the back side so I dont have any reference photos. Like a crystal is missing.

Thanks for the other pics, itll make it easier for capacitors.

Ok so the printing says CSA (or could be C3A) 12.0MT then it looks like a symbol followed by a capital F. There is no printing on the other side. Here is a zoomed photo: IMG_5476.JPG

Quite a while ago I pulled the board out of mine and just use the RCA inputs since I didn't really have use for the coax connection anyway and recapping isn't going to happen anytime soon. It will still work in the tv mode using the RCA without the tuner board in the system.

I need to know what resistor values are on the little tiny circuit board because one is missing on mine
