Macintosh SE/30 when turned only fan spins. No image on crt at all and no boot chime.

Hi, first post here.

I have just replaced my Macintosh SE/30's analog board with one I bought off eBay. Before the AB swap the Macintosh was completely dead.
"New" board only spins the fan and nothing else.

Board has not been recapped. (I don't know how to solder)
Am willing to ship the Machine to anyone who is able and willing to repair it.

Caps have definitely leaked. I can see a good bit of corrosion around UE8 and the other chips in that area. Cap legs all look dull. Always get the logic board recapped before further troubleshooting, it’s 100% necessary at this point.

I never officially had a “recapping service”. I did recap a couple of boards for people, but I stopped doing it entirely for others.
Apologies, any recommendations as to who I should contact in order to get the logic board recapped and cleaned?

Yes, recap of the logicboard is a must before you do more diagnostics. Also you need to check if the power supply is outputting the correct voltages or not - it should be re-capped too if it hasn't been already. If you have a mulitmeter, you can check the voltages at the floppy port.

Thank you all for forwarding me towards Amigo of Rochester. I'll email them about the mac and see if they can repair it.
