I’ve got Macintosh LC few weeks ago. The machine itself is in the relatively good condition. I’m going to make a full recap, cause original capacitors are leaky.
It is interesting to notice two insertion pin sockets for fan and speaker instead of the typical surface contact-based assembly for this model. Looks much like LC II board, yet it has a second floppy connector and m68020 CPU.
The second strange thing I found, there’s no hole for a second floppy drive. The front panel looks exactly like for LC II.
I didn’t find any list of sub-revisions for the original LC. Is it the latest unified assembly with some enhancements from the LC II line?
