Macintosh 128k recap question (noob)

Hello! I recently purchased a nice looking Macintosh 128k—my first vintage Mac! It powered on but the puff of smoke and horrible smell told me that there is a RIFA cap that needs to be replaced. While I have it open, I was wondering if you guys could tell me what else Is typically replaced in these machines? Other caps? Thank you!7203F89B-164C-461F-910E-D8ED324C97BE.jpeg6747946C-05CC-442C-BBDC-8C847C32D9CB.jpeg5A36E174-9110-4465-803E-D0D9B551A8B2.jpeg

Each and every electrolytic should be changed as well. C1 can also be exchanged for a film cap if you cannot find an electrolytic...and it may be more tolerant of heat as well.

By the way...welcome!!

It sounds like the electrolytics are the round ones. Do you guys know of a kit available?

If it is the US (and not international) model, I have a handwritten list of them all (minus the RIFAs) that I can scan and send to you.

If you could send me that list, I would appreciate it. I am a noob trying to learn my way around. I will also need the RIFAs.

Any decent component supplier will have them. RIFA are owned by Kemet these days but are still distributed under the RIFA brand. I usually get mine from RS in the UK which is just my default supplier for general electronics.

There are suitable film capacitors these days too, but if you're not feeling adventurous, replacing like for like is the most sensible option.
