While this is something that will not surprise most of us on this site, I still found this article an amusing read. Indeed, as a verteran anti-bloatware advocate myself, I found the article a breath of fresh air. Of course, this is not to say that the masses will flock to EBAY to buy an old Plus and run all their modern tasks on it. But it does show how much bloat is in modern applications, and I would go so far as to include even Apple's own OS X as a part of that. Gone are the days of 11 second boot times and efficient, assembly-written code! Long live 68kMLA! (And long live REGULAR BACKUPS of this site too!)

Sorry, I didn't think to find such in the Lounge forum as it would be rather off-topic there (or at least, not as on-topic as it would be in this forum insorfar as the Plus is the central theme of it). The article is about the Plus, which I personally believe belongs in this "compact Mac" forum. Nevertheless, I will admit that I was not the first to find it. By the way, it was in fact Macintouch that tipped me off about it, not this site.

I would therefore be more than happy if the moderators would delete this thread while at the same time MOVE the other thread into this forum, where it clearly belongs!

Sorry.
