Mac CC InstallMeFirst Disk

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the correct section...but I'm hardly looking for a working german Version of the Mac OS 7.1 - Spezial Installation (InstallMeFirst Disk - or Dc42 Image.

My physical Disk is broken; physically, no way to read or write on it. I already swapped the magnetic inlay/inner disk. So now I just need the correct content.

The Internet in its glory isn't a good shot this time..I can't find any localized german Colour Classic Disks/Images :-/

Anyone here in the Community owning a set of German Mac OS 7.1 for the Colour Classic?

Or..does anyone know a good source? (Already tried the MG without luck)

Hi,

well - this is a good page but that would be only MAC OS 7.1 in retail ..so usable for every Macintosh that supports it - sometimes with enabler.

These "InstallMeFirst" Disks provide just that Systemenabler before/while installing MAC OS. With a retail OS Disk I can't install the System :-/

It's not the OS I need - I just need that single Disk  [:p] ]'>

It's probably a matter of finding the right enabler(System enabler 401) and modifying the retail disk to suit.

I have a disk of the French Disk and the enabler IIRC, so probably a small modification to fit.

Yeah that was my first thought and attempt to try ;) I used another language Disk and it won't work because the system looks for the Name of the Disks and Files in localized language. I also tried an Quadra and LC InstallMeFirst Disk - it will boot up and therefore install but won't copy the enabler to the hard disk - still a manual job to do :-/

So it's still neccessary to get the correct language version

I hope I found your file. I put a slew of System 7 stuff here for you, https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B32C6NlrH1VXaHNUWkxia19wbnc

I apologize that the amount of stuff is huge but some are sit files and I am honestly strapped on time a bit. Please check if what you need is there. If not please let me know and I will dig deeper.

Please note: As I edit this, the upload continues to Google Drive.

I will try another language version, then when the CC is up and running, i will swap both System and Finder files to the german ones, worked for me several times, you will have the localized CC you are looking for.
