Picked up some new stuff today! I decided to search Facebook marketplace. I had never used it before. I only have a FB account for my Oculus Quest 2. Found a seller who had two Macintosh Color Displays, a Microtek LCD, a Performa 6360 with a 6500 logic board swap, Gravis joystick, keyboard, mouse, extra hard drive, mic, etc. $200 bucks. I had to jump on it. I’ve been looking for good condition Apple CRTs to match with my old Macs and everything else included was icing on the cake!
Attached is a quick pic…I just got home and unloaded, gotta get to work now. I’ll get better pics of the stuff tomorrow. Seller was cool, into older Macs too. His wife wanted this stuff gone cuz it was just taking space in their basement. :) He’s glad it went to a good home that’ll take care of the stuff.

I’m stoked cuz I can put the 6500 board into my 6400 and the original board back into the 6360, or just leave it be. We’ll see. It’s also got a Comm Slot II ethernet card which I’ve been searching for as well!

Whatcha guys think?

Few more pics. Running out of room for this stuff! I’m done buying old Mac stuff for awhile, unless maybe an all in one in good shape comes my way. Both monitors have great pictures. Clear and crisp. Glad I was able to find these! Great Trinitron tubes in them. I installed 9.1 on the 6360. It has a 40gb HD installed. Logic board is from a 6500/225. Original logic board was included. Gonna use the cache from it in my 6400, also the Comm Slot II ethernet. Will probably stick the original 1.2gb HD from the 6360 into the B&W G3 as a second drive. Lastly is a pic of the Performa Plus monitor I picked up off Craigslist a few weeks ago. Price was right at $10, but the monitor is borked. Either was stored near magnets or the caps are gone, I don’t know. The picture is rainbow colored, blurry, etc. I can sorta of make it better by using a magnet to “pull” the coloration out of the screen but it doesn’t stay. I think these were cheap Goldstar made monitors.

Once I move to a place with a spare bedroom my plan for these machines is to make a “vintage Macintosh” computer lab. Build out table space around the walls of the room, PhoneNet all the computers, ImageWriter II on one end, StyleWriter 1500 on the other.
