Interware VDR-2a video card for Macintosh SE/30

I bid on this at the last minute about two weeks ago and was kind of shocked when I won!  Especially for what I paid for it; at $80, it feels like I practically stole this card.  It displays up to millions of colors at 640x480, and has pretty cool looking splash screen to boot:

Seconded, you scored a solid deal there! 

I'd post a picture but since that's presently broken "all the best stuff is made in Japan", at least insofar as really nice upgrades for compact Macs that came out after the point that most folks had moved on to newer machines are concerned.

I wonder if it'd be possible to add a full color splash screen in-ROM.  I guess if you replaced the Happy Mac.  I seem to recall DougG3 found that the Happy Mac could be in color.
