free! Got it from someone as they were upgrading. it came off of a powermac G4. which they were using another keyboard and mouse for it. I, however, find the pro mouse rather useless since I used my mom's Mighty mouse :D

Oh well, gonna keep it :)

Sweet :)

I have a black pro keyboard...I'm assuming a plant fell on it; there's dirt EVERYWHERE in it

I got it in November -- I've yet to clean it :p

but it's not exactly an easy keyboard to use. for some reason, apple made the keys really squishy, and the keyboard is so awkward to use, it hurts my hands. The one that came with my mom's new iMac Core2Duo is a LOT better. it doesn't put fatigue on the hands as much as the iMac G3 series does

I, however, and using it with my PowerMac B&W G4 400Mhz w/1GB ram :D

Anyways, the Mouse is sitting in it's box still (they never used it, just went and got a dual-button mouse (no scroll wheel) so they can use OS X like it SHOULD HAVE been used with. I don't know why Apple was so adamite against the two-button mice, especially since they put the support in in Classic, but never had a button for it :-/

I retired my Apple USB Mouse M4848 in favor of an aftermarket two button non-scrolling mouse also. My Apple USB Keyboard M2452 drives me nuts partly because the home position tactile nubs were moved from (d,k) to (f,j) positions. Also on my 10.3.9 system there are some long irregular delays during the composing a reply during which I can out type the display. I haven't tracked this down yet, but it is slightly easier composing offline. Never had this problem on 9.2 or earlier on any system.

I love my black pro keyboard. I still have my black pro mouse too, but it doesn't get used anymore...
