I bought an original Carrera 040.
But, that card's capacitor was still removed. So,I soldered capacitor, and put into IICi.
Then, I turned on IICi, so led and fan was working, but didn't chime, didn't boot. Monitor was showed white display,no arrow.
I'm tring to fix now, so plese help me.
C27's resistance was 0.49MΩ, C28,C30 was 97Ω, another capasitor were 25.5Ω.
U10 and U11 chip were very hot, is it normally?

Bolle didn’t reply.
So, I try to repair myself.
Carrera’s FPGA chips were very hot.
Then, they must be broke(I believe).
I bought FPGA Chips, and changed them using heat gun.
Pin header was melt down, but Carrera 040 come back to life!

Nicely done! Where did you source the replacements from?

Well done!

For future reference, I recommend Chip Quik for surface mount component removal. It’s much more gentle than using a heat gun.
