I saw this some years ago on this site (one of my bookmarks). I thought it was a great modification, even though it was running one of my not-so-favorite operating systems.
And yes, rather sad that this Mac could have been in working order. Regardless, it seems as though he had enough respect for the SE/30 that he made sure the mod was truly elegant, something that I do believe he achieved. And since it will also run Basilisk II, he can have it run as a 68K Mac once again, with a LOT more power than an actual SE/30 would ever have. If he were selling it, I would definitely pay money for it.
At least he didn't make a video of it being blown up or destroyed frivolously like some fscktards like to put up on YouTube. >
