IMG_0052.JPGIMG_0054.JPGThis amazing thing was on the side of the street, gathering dust! So I picked it up, and brought it home. Guess what?

IT WORKS! Sure, the keyboard is a bit damaged, the front bezel and power button are cracked, but it was free.IMG_0056.JPGIMG_0057.JPG I couldn't complain. It also came with a 40GB USB HDD. IMG_0053.JPGThen I decided to get rid of some personal files, and found a BUNDLE of software on it.

I try to stay away from durham if I can. Closest I have been has been Chapel Hill to service scoreboards at both the high school, and the mcdougal middle school.

Depends on which part of Durham- some of it is pretty sketchy, some is alright, some is pretty uppity. And then you have Duke students, which is a whole different level of scary in of itself... I live just south of Durham and do most of my shopping, etc. there. McDougle? I live just up the road from McDougle Middle. Chapel Hill High is just a few miles away...

Very nice, congrats!  It looks like the box was a little water-logged so the fact that it fires up without issue is lucky.  Replacement keyboards in good shape aren't as easy to find as the iceBook keyboards but they're out there.

I think the owner left it in the garage, knowing that it was working, because they actually deleted important stuff on it, at 9 in the morning or something.
