flexible display for Color Classic

Hi, I am wondering if a 8.2" flexible OLED or TFT display could be used to replace a CRT in a Color Classic Mac.
This, since the CC uses a Trinitron cilyndrical screen, the curvature of which could be easily replicated by an appropriately sized display.
i see a lot of Takky and/or other very invasive hacks in the CC, and the replacement of the CRT is always very awkward.

I would never destroy a perfectly working CC, although I would NOT mind building a Takky CC with modern hi res, like 800x600, OLED or TFT display that looks just like the original mounted! Or, build upon something that can be 100% reversed to its original condition.
Problem is, which display to use? Alibaba has lots of them, however the site is VERY cryptic in information, plus their idea of sampling is in the tens of each, if not absolutley outrageous prices to discourage one time, single panel buyers.
Like this one, which is basically 1000 $:

There's a lot of tricky pieces here, but the first one is that I would expect the majority of modern displays to be widescreen only. It looks like the one you linked is only about 5 inches in the shorter dimension, which I think is quite a bit too short to fit nicely.

You *might* be able to find a non-flexible LCD that fits, but it's a bit of a weird size, especially to find with a similar aspect ratio.

Personally I find the CRT to be a big part of the charm of these older machines! But of course, if you have one with a broken screen to begin with, I can see this being a fun project.
