Finally fixed my LC 1

Finally got around to recapping the TDK power supply in my LC I. Was swapping supplies between it and my other LC machines when I needed to use it.

Anybody run these with 2 floppy drives (only LC you can do that with)?

I've got an LCII I need to recap before I part with it and actually you could run the LCII with two floppy drives because the pads are there. It just needs a header... and an LC 1 case with the two slots of course.

FWIW, the LC II even has a hole in the metal part of the case for a floppy drive, just not the plastic.

I presume it was just cost savings. Why get a new metal sheet designed when you don't need to?

Same with the logic board too. Why build a whole brand new logic board when you can just switch the CPU. Okay, I know some stuff had to change to support the 68030, but, it's a very similiar design

I run mine with a floppy drive on the right side, and a Magneto Optical drive on the left side.  I've then mounted a small 2.5" SCSI-to-CF inside elsewhere.

Edit:  Found my old video of it.
