Does anyone have a list of every Compact Mac model, or know where I may find one? As shown in another post, I will try to collect every model.

I will try to buy every model.

Does anyone have a compact mac they can sell me?

I already have two Classic II's!

As discussed in the other topic, would you see a collection of each model as a full collection, or would you want every specification, minor variation, upgrade option etc that was available within each model?

The actual models (ie different text on the case) are:

128k (with and without "128k" badging)

512k

512ke

Plus (beige and platinum)

ED

SE

SE SuperDrive

SE FDHD

SE/30

Classic

Classic II

Colour Classic

Colour Classic II (probably impossible to get as it was only ever sold in Japan)

Apple themselves list them, although their list isn't especially comprehensive as it misses the ED and the SE SuperDrive (although the SE SuperDrive is rare and so probably also nigh-on impossible to find)

just each model

each smal variation is impossible too find

and if you regard a color classic 1 with a lc 550 mobo as an color classic 2 it wont be that hard

but that flies in the face of collectors

Yeah, I mad a post the 68mla a while back about The Macintosh XL.

They were made to ged rid of Lisa parts. They dumped a bunce of 'em in Loagan, UT for a tax write-off. (Not really a comapct mac though). ;)

no but it is of that era and mac xl's were used to develop mac software on untill the plus was released

Wasn't there a Plus ED as well as the "plain" ED? IIRC the ED was based of the 512ke, and, surprisingly, the Plus ED was based off of the Plus.

Yeah, I'd think the ED and Plus ED would be among the harder models to source...

What is a Plus ED? Oh, the SE SuperDrive is not that rare, I see them on e-bay a lot, most sellers don't know that it is an FDHD and sell it as a standard SE.

Low End Mac says it was first available in Canada. Does anyone know if this is true?

I keep hoping I'll find one :)
