While trying to mount my new SCSI2SD in my Macintosh SE/30, I decided I wanted a more durable solution than the wooden brackets I had been using. Unfortunately, my 3D printer's bed is just slightly too small to fit any of the other excellent SCSI2SD bracket designs that have already been created, so I designed my own!
The bracket is designed to mount a SCSI2SD v5.1 inside of the original Mac SE style hard drive sled. It is compatible with the mounting screws that the original hard drive uses, so the SCSI2SD can simply be swapped in.
I have made the part 100mm x 101mm and included many thick sections of plastic for extra reinforcement. I also have made a recess for the through-hole legs of the SCSI connector so that the circuit board can sit flush with the print. The part took my printer about an hour and forty-five minutes to print out with an 18% infill, so it is not too massive to be manageable.
I am posting the STL file here in case anyone wants to print out one of their own brackets. Hopefully, this part will be of use to someone else too!
