Looks like he used very thin paper...

I modded the logos on one of my Lombards (the one with the already-ruined case). The inner display one I scraped the white paint off and painted blue. On the back display logo I pulled off the white plastic deal and used rubber cement to secure part of a broken blue CD case cut to size, so it has more of a crystalline glow and looks cool. On the bottom I removed the white paint (poorly, I might add) and left it clear, so now I can see the logic board thru the Apple logo, it looks really neat.

lol, yeah, i've gotten in the habit of spelling many things with a 'u'

and i just used a standard sheet of computer paper.

however, it's not as bad as that picture makes it seem i had to up the midtones and highlights in PS because i underexposed the photo.

Well, it wasnt THAT thin, just a standard sheet of computer paper.

That's a nice little mod. I've seen that on a MacBook before - I believe you can get special stickers that fit perfectly over the logo. Paper works just as well though!
