I just realized this is my first post. I've been following the forums for a couple years now.
My latest acquisitions are for my fairly stock Colour Classic. When it began exhibiting audio issues a couple years ago, I pulled the speaker out to troubleshoot, and my puppy decided it would be a good chew toy. I did conclude it was a capacitor issue, but didn't have much hope to find a matching speaker to replace the shredded cone. Im contemplating sending the board to Uniserver for recapping- my only hangup is shipping stuff across the border economically.
This speaker was listed as a pull from a Performa 636 CD. Looks identical. Fingers crossed it'll fit when it gets here.
My next find was SimCity 2000. I'm looking forward to this for sure. Does anybody know if it'll run on the CC without a 640x480 mod? I've found conflicting reports of its resolution requirements.
Finally, I scooped this Sun UniPack SCSI enclosure for a little more than shipping. It's in great shape and I've got it powering on and spinning up discs. It has an HP 9200 8,4,32 CD Writer in it which I'm hoping is supported in Toast 4. A DB25 to HD68 cable is on its way.
