About a week ago tommorow a good friend of mine gave me his G3 that he was using for a backup system. He was using a sawtooth G4 (I think) for his main machine and he has since gotten a mac pro. The G3 has a 400MHz processor with 640 megs of ram and a 12 gig hard drive with 10.4.9 on it. I am very happy with this computer and it is the fastest Mac I have ever owned. What I was surprized is that this machine can do cover flow view, although a bit slowly.
