That honestly is a neat solution!
I'll have a think on how to implement something like that!
The main issues I can think of are that Android doesn't pay attention to local dns, so won't use named local servers, so you'd have to use urls with fixed ips to your local Web server.

Anyway - I love your storage solution, your new additions, and I particularly like that you also have a TI PEB occupying space alongside the rest of your collection! I have not seen one in a dual floppy configuration before. I didn't know they supported that.
Ahh, the ti-99/4a.

Reason it's there, is because I got one aged 12 from my parents (giving away my age now 🤣).
Was my very first foray into computing, and probably shaped my future and my professional career back then!

The PEB always was a dream back into the 80's, but totally unaffordable!

So when I saw one not that long ago, immediately snapped it up!

They indeed had the choice of full size or half size drives, so with the latter you could put two inside!

Received two 44mb cartridges, let's see if we can coach this back to life

About 20 years ago I turned down a SyQuest drive. Wish I hadn't now, but at the time I didn't understand why I'd want one when I could borrow my dad's zip drive.

Not saying I was wrong, but it would go well with the IIci it used to be connected to that I still have :)
