@jajan547's recent prototype 6360 thread reminded me that I had an IDE "Quick Start" post sat at draft as I hadn't been able to test at the time. I've updated it as I have a Beige G3 set up at the moment.
Given all beige IDE Macs I can think of (Performa 630 to G3) can boot Mac OS 8.1, I made a disk image that boots this.
The idea is, if you're getting into retro macs and just bought a Performa 630, for example, but have no working drives (CD, floppy or previous hard disk with an OS), you can get started with a cheap IDE to SD card adapter, a 4GB SD card and a modern computer that can write to SD cards.
Figure it is less useful to 68kmla folk as most people here are well set up, but any testing is welcome to iron out any mistakes I've made that will discourage beginners.
The image included installers from 7.1.2 to 8.1 (UK versions sorry, I can make a US version if everything is good) and a few utilities etc.
