This is the second "restore" series I'll be doing for my LaserWriter NT. The goal is to disassemble (to a point), clean, retrobrite, resurface rollers, recap, etc.
Before I begin, I'd like to see if anyone knows any of the following questions:
1. What should be done in regards to the power supply? Is there a direct fit replacement? I see some posts regarding the II series, but what about this one? Should the original just be recapped?
2. How many rollers are in these and what should they feel like? Without taking anything apart, opening the front door, I noticed one roller that was super soft, but not melting or anything. Is that normal or should anything super soft be replaced?
