A few requests... read before throwing the rule book at me!

So. Yeah. I have some requests.

I don't want you to give me software, though that would be nice - what I'm after is information.

I have an OS 9 machine set up, and I need to know what software will work for the following functions:

Schematic Capture (gschem and kicad on linux, eagle on windows, amicad on amiga)

Tracking (SoundTracker on amiga, Impulse Tracker on DOS, etc)

Cross stitch design (I know there is a product called MacStitch that has probably existed long enough to have had an OS 9 version, but I can't confirm that)

Also I'd like to know if anyone knows of OS9-native Color LaserJet drivers for printing over a network?

Yes, I've tried Googling, no, I haven't had any luck.

Don't know about the others, but PlayerPro would be what you're looking for there - very good program

If your model is old enough, you can find Mac OS 8/9 drivers on the HP website.

As for Schematic Capture, the only things I could find were McCAD and Designworks Lite. I can't seem to find a copy of the 30 day demo for Designworks anywhere. (Found a couple in binhex format, but they wouldn't decode.) I'll take a look and see if I can find it on a MacAddict CD.

Edit: Found a copy of DesignWorks 4.0.1 on MacAddict Disc 26. (Which I assume turns into "Lite" in demonstration mode.) http://www.mediafire.com/?q04ubax2iubmk0z

Excellent, I'll compile that later today.

Cheers mate. I've just downloaded that, I'll have to try it out. It's frustrating not having the same sort of click-to-place schematic editing I enjoy on Unix.

If your model is old enough
Haha! No hope there, sorry. It's a model recent enough that Linux barely supports it, even with the official drivers... It's a CP1025nw - I was hoping more for a known "generic" Color LaserJet driver - I mean, they all speak the same language (PCL) right?
