5300c display cable

Hi, my 5300c's display ribbon wouldn't work unless I held it a specific way before, then it would only make random lines when I held it, and now it just doesn't work. I couldn't find replacements anywhere, can this be repaired?

If you wanted to repair it, you can check each pin for continuity and then solder a small patch wire to the other end to bypass any breaks. May need to do that to several.

I tested a lot of the pins and they have continuity so I think it might be something else but I didn't test them all so I'll try that and post an update.

I've found that traces can get flaky at the connectors - I've had success resoldering the display-end of the cable before. But also these cables are getting verrrrry susceptible to broken traces at fold points... just handling the cable makes it worse. The 5300c / cs / ce cables are a prime candidates for modern replacement projects (they're all different).
