    Alternative Classic II FPU card

Hi gang, While Marcin Dymczyks FPU card is cool, it uses a hard-to-get and quite expensive TE Connectivity AMP Connector which is ~13€/14$ at a minimum order of 50€ at Digikey. So my design available at https://github.com/axelmuhr/MacClassic2FPU uses a simple 90° Pin-Header connector (<1€)...

Radius Rocket disabled MMU... anyone knows why?

Hey gang, After many moons of waiting on my todo-stack, I finally repaired my Radius Rocket. Runs fine and all... ..but there's one strange thing I came about when doing nastier things than running MacBench: It claims not having an MMU (while the installed 68040/25 certainly has one) -...

Two SE 1/20 do not accept floppies

Hey Gang, so here's a IMHO tough nut to crack... Just got two SE 1/20. Cleaned them etc. and both boot fine off their screaming original 20MB HDDs. What puzzles me is that both(!) refrain to accept every floppy-disk being fed to them... either instantly ejecting or offering to format them...

    Quadra 950 PSU died... <cry>

Hey gang, I could cry like a baby... Restaurated my Q950, cleaned it, gave it a nice retrobright sunbath, tidied-up the A/UX installation and being annoyed by the loud fan, I went for the final step replacing it with something more silent and while at it, I gave the PSU a good blow of fresh air...

    SCSI2SD + Hard-Reset = No booting

Hi all! This drives me crazy...  I have a SCSI2SD (recent firmware) in my IIci, Sys 7.5.3, all parameters set in "safety mode" (ie. SEAGATE vendor etc.) but formatted and setup with LIDO anyhow and everything's fine and shine... ...until I have to hard-reset the machine - which I have do a lot...

    Lowmem Boot Globals Doc anyone?

Hey Gang, While diging, biting and crawling through the Carrera040 disassembly I got to the point where I need to know more about the "Boot Globals" risiding in lowmem's system global variables. BootGlobPtr lives at $DDC, that's for sure, and it points to different locations on different...

Hint for fixing PB140 screen issue?

Hello you wonderful bunch of Mac'ians! While my my "other Mac project" is currently on-hold I dived into a PB140 restoration... initially it went quite smooth -thanks to the great videos of Ferrix97 (Grazie mille, mio eroe!)- replaced the fuse, reanimated hard-drive and recapped the...
