All, What type of RS-232 interface do I need to have on my KX-P2123 to print from a powerbook 5300? There are 2 interface types I can get for my Panasonic printer. Current loop and non-current loop interface boards. Does the Mac require a "current" on the RS-232 for printing?

Well, I got it brought back to life. I tracked down a NOS 2000MAh battery for a decent price ($39 shipped, last one in stock!) and I swapped for a 58MB memory card. (so I now have 64MB installed) I am doing this until I can finish surgery on the dead factory battery.... project for another day...

Wasn't there a vertical stand for the IIsi style case like there was for the Sun IPX at one time? I recall there was an aftermarket unit made that was grey/black. We had one for the IIci or IIcx that were in the media lab. Thinking of a franken-mac II project now that the retro bug has bit.
