I have a 180c that works well except the screen has a lot of noise / static when it first starts up. After a few minutes, it clarifies and becomes clear. Anyone know what this might be? Screen caps, right? :)

My goal is to have computer for each of system 6 (Mac Plus), system 7 (SE/30, IIci, Quadra 700, PB 540, and / or LC 475), and system 9 (Lombard). Gonna introduce the kids to vintage Macs and set these up in our rec / game room along with a pool table, MAME arcade system, fussball, and Xbox...

Well, it was posted on Hacker News which can crush any smallish web server. I had that honor once with VintageApple.org. It was mostly the large PDF downloads that did it in. I quickly discovered I could set rate limits on downloads and that helped.

Moniterm made monitors advertised for desktop publishing in the lat 80's - early 90's with the Viking brand. I found this in the Spring 1990 edition of Macintosh Buyers Guide. So that would appear to be the card that came with that monitor.

Well no clue on the original drive and why it is not reading properly. I tried cleaning the head again to no avail. I tried a second Superdrive and it is 100% dead, the Applesauce can't talk to it at all. I found a third that works that has a dead eject motor; dead as in doesn't do anything...

Well, it's definitely the floppy drive. I pulled the one out of my LC 475 and it works fine with the Applesauce. Still wondering what can cause them to go bad.

Well heck, with some of the CD's, I can't create an image via Disk Copy on Catalina. They must be HFS format or something, not a standard CD format.
