Nope, it is this. Here is my writeup on my build.

    My first 68k Mac - Macintosh SE 2x 800k

Now it's time to put your soldering skills to the test and build one of Bolle's reproduction Performer '030 accelerators! Congrats on getting things (mostly) working.

Mac Plus and Mac SE/30 (busted)

Those are the ones I use, the red stripe is pretty badass. Original look, but with a little edge. 😂

    PowerMac 6100, Performa 450 , Mac IIsi

Keep us updated in the IIsi. As the owner of two, and repairer of both, I'm always interest in people's IIsi challenges. Hopefully a simple recap will bring yours back to life, though in general it seems IIsi's take a bit more than that.

    IIsi onboard ram replacement

I'm not aware of any sort of combination video/Ethernet card. There were some dual-PDS risers that would let you run two PDS cards, but I don't think there was a version with dual NuBus or PDS and NuBus. The newest BlueSCSI has WiFi, that would be an option to get your machine connected without...

    IIsi onboard ram replacement

I'm keeping my eye out for some sort of accelerated 24 bit card. I currently have an 8*24 (not GC). It works fine, but the redraw is slow in 24 bit mode. 8*24 cards come up for sale pretty often on eBay for not a lot of money, but I'd hold out for something better if you are in the market for a...

What's going on with your SE/30 board?

    IIsi onboard ram replacement

Good call on the 4mb, especially if you are using a video card so you don't need to worry about the shared VRAM. I had forgotten about this thread and should have updated. I finally got my IIsi working this morning, the 8x chips harvested from 256kb SIMMs worked. I installed them a year ago and...

macintosh IIsi 4MB onboard RAM upgrade

Yeah, when I was working on my board today I found a few errant solder balls from the paste that had not melted. It would not be good if those migrated to the wrong spot.

macintosh IIsi 4MB onboard RAM upgrade

Nice write-up. I did not upgrade my board to 4mb, but I did replace the onboard RAM due to a faulty chip(s). I also used solder paste and would recommend it as a starting point. The reason I replaced the RAM was due to a suspected RAM issue resulting in a death chime. I replaced the ALS245s and...

Got it, consider my prior suggestion fully withdrawn. 🙂

IIsi death chime after home circuit breaker trips

Fixed! I took the board out today to check continuity of the traces going on the ROMs, since I overlooked this previously and only checked the ROM SIMM. While I was in there, I decided to check the RAM chips for bridged pins and continuity to the pads. I found two pins that did not have...

    SE/30 Board Mystery Issue

They may be, I thought they were close to the originals, but it's possible the board files would not be useful in this situation.

Mac Plus and Mac SE/30 (busted)

They will also make modifications. I have had them swap tantalums for polymer electrolytics to keep the factory look of the can-type caps.

Mac Plus and Mac SE/30 (busted)

Oh wow, I know these machines cost quite a bit more in some European countries than in the US. Knowing that, you got an even better deal! I recommend Console 5 for cap kits, they have everything already packaged, and they use high quality caps. Alternatively you can order from Mouser or...

Tokamac build and programming XC1736 chips

@Bolle, do you have any suggestions for programming the XC1736 chips? I assume you were able to successfully program one for your clone project.

    SE/30 Board Mystery Issue

Definitely try out the board files with the Altium viewer too. Since it is a "map" of the board, it is very easy to visually follow a trace from point A to B. The reloaded board is not an exact copy of the original so not all components and traces are in the exact location as a stock board, but...

    SE/30 Board Mystery Issue

Are there tools that will let you highlight traces on a Gerber file? That would be really helpful. Using the SE/30 Reloaded Gerber files with an online Gerber viewer will make following traces quite easy. I have experimented with a number of the online Gerber viewers and have found Altium...

    SE/30 Board Mystery Issue

Here is an excellent re-drawn version of the SE/30 schematics. This was created by one of the board members here, I didn't bookmark the original post I got it from so I can't give credit where credit is due, but I'm sure someone here will know who created it.
