Probably a chip on the board, can have a look.
The eject command is on pin 9 of the connector, then you have got the Q7 transistor (BV4) now 2SB624, probably this one is bad.
the keyboard is not really required, but you won't do anything without a mouse. probably easy to source. I have got several, but i am not in the same side of the Channel.
Yes, good price i agree, The twin drive is scarce nowadays, most have been modified in some way or another. if both drives are working properly, you have got a nice unit.
I will rather say the drive is spinning too fast.
You can calibrate the drive to the required 300 rpm or better 299 rpm speed, using any Iphone or Android phone with the right application.
I am using strobe tachometer, and the bottom white and black target to do so.
If the right speed is...
Not your issue here, but yes you can replace that cap, won't hurt.
Several logic boards were available for the IIe, some with sockets for most chips, some without.
You can try swapping the first (on the left) chips with some from the right if those are socketed.
The rams chips are on the...
i will think this is related with voltages from the PSU, (apparently already adjusted but the former values where already far gone)
As cheesetraws suggest, will check voltages at different stages.
Hi, the only thing i can see that doesn’t look right is the ram size and corresponding resistor.
From you picture, you have got 1 Mb of ram, but the ram size resistor has one leg lifted, when both should be soldered (top left part of the board)
