RetroChallenge 2023/10 has begun!
It's the 1st of October somewhere, we have some solid RetroChallengers, and I expect we will have many more joining us this week. It's not too late to enter!

Thank you! I updated the details on the endurance challenge with a link to the BBS web page:

Oh, It looks great! So, if you added a forum / area there, everyone could post their updates in the same forum and then somebody could search by user and get just one person's entries,, I think. I will keep in contact with you to make this happen. Thanks!
We were going have it in January, but why wait?! We are happy to announce RetroChallenge for the month of October 2022!
RetroChallenge 2022/10 Theme Categories
We have one theme category for this event: Endurance Challenge. This category will be judged and awarded separately from the standard...
That's a good tip I never knew about! Here I was looking up Apple part numbers!
Start with isopropyl alcohol on a Q tip to clean the drive head. Do some searches on this site for troubleshooting info. Those 400K drives are built like tanks, so other than lubrication, I have rarely had problems...
It looks like your 128k still has the original 64K ROM set, despite the RAM upgrade. It was pretty typical to upgrade to the Mac Plus ROMs when doing this upgrade, aligning with cheesestraw's theory that this was an early upgrade (before the Mac Plus arrived).
Without knowing the error you are...
Actually, this is a really good price:

However, this is for a lower wattage than the HD monitor uses. The ones for your monitor are the 90W which is about $30 on ebay
I believe that is for a security lock so people can't steal it, not a data cable. I have the same monitor, and it works fine without anything in there. Great monitor BTW!

NuBus Runs on a 10MHz clock, even on the II. The discussion was about a IIsi NuBus adapter. The Mac II has 4 state machines to keep the system synced up with Nubus. Maybe they are all incorporated into the IIsi NuBus adapter, but I don't see why they would be.
The SE/30's 16MHz bus speed is not right for running 10MHz NuBus. That's why the 20 MHz IIsi can do NuBus with so little hardware. You would probably need to accelerate the SE/30 to 20 MHz, and lose all of its onboard capabilities (including video and SCSI), or have a whole lot of hardware...
What system is crashing? The Raspberry Pi or the Mac? What Mac/System/Browser are you using?
When you are saying that outside domains are not resolving, I assume that no packets are getting through, not just that DNS isn't working (like it is a symptom, not the actual problem). Some ping tests...
Or spray some WD-40 on the contact points (making sure to not get overspray on the drive head). Work it around, wipe down, and put on some new lithium grease. It saves the effort of having to disassemble.
