Have you tried booting this without extensions (shift on boot)? I've had some weird prototypes that really don't like extensions and freak out when they are enable. Just a thought.

Artmix is legit. I waited over a year to get them, and had honestly forgot, then checked the mail one day and they were all there. He could have stiffed me, and I wouldn't have had any recourse given the time with PayPal limits but he followed through on what I bought.

I think I would be able to get it to boot from another hard drive the issue is the touch software drivers wouldn't work... I'm assuming. 

So I was able to work out a deal on that W.A.L.T. The seller was really cool. I've never seen one in this color before. After some poking around I realized a PB 140 charger would work to start it up. That being said, I cleaned it up and bit and plugged it in. It turns on... sadly the hard drive...

Make sure the system OS is blessed... I've found this to be the issue most of the time.

Indeed. I've got a prototype 20MB internal HD I'll snap a pic of as well. It was supposedly going to replace the Widget drives.
