It's a smaller one - S1911 I got for free from some guy who was giving it away, I guess because it's an older model (VGA and DVI inputs iirc). Think it's 5:4 not 4:3 since the native resolution is 1280 x 1024, but I like the squareness!

I swapped in a Noctua NF-R8 redux for my Quadra 700 PSU and it works great! I just had to swap the black and red wires around and ignored the yellow completely 😄 This picture is from before the swap - top is the noctua, bottom is the original fan.

Also - unless you bypass the RAM check on startup, starting up your mac can actually take quite a bit longer with more RAM as the system performs a full RAM test. I put 4x32MB in my Quadra 650 and it takes aages to boot now! I think it's maybe possible to bypass in System 7.5 and up if you hold...

I think the HPV cards are interchangeable between 6100/7100/8100 - I stuck my 8100 HPV card in my 6100 to verify that the 6100 was functioning, since I was selling it. Not pretty - it sticks out and you can't close the lid - but worked fine! This is the HPV from my 8100
