    I might de-solder the firewire port if it's easier to make it fit the existing I/O plate on the side (anything I could use Firewire for I'd probably sooner use my G4 MDD) This one is a slot loader rather than the older tray models. I'm not sure if the CRT changed much in that intervening time...

    What model(s) are they? If you pop the side panel off it should have them on a label on the bottom of the inside, just under the plastic baffle

    Have you got any updates for us on this? I've got the Gen 1 model cooler that seems to be slowly failing (but mercifully not leaking...yet) and just swapping it to some modern air cooling seems far more preferable for longevity of the machine

    G5 Quad Gen 1 Delphi Cooler Rebuild

    Could you elaborate on that? I've got a Gen 1 G5 Quad that seems to be slowly dying to overheating and would love to replace it with something more reliable. (I suspect mine either has pump failure or coolant blockage. Thankfully no leaks, yet!)
